Flowers and vegetables garden grow around an evergreen grass enjoying a superb view on the lake. Our 5 guest rooms have a fascinating view too. Our employees are at your disposal from 8 to 20 everyday for breakfast, glass of wine, tea or coffee, cheese and cold plates, and all other advices you require to organize your stay in Talloires.

Talloires and Chalet Christine is above all a family story.

In 1932, our great-grandfather fell in love with this little corner of paradise and decided to settle there. Talloires is a small village of a little more than 500 people and on the site of Chalet Christine grow beautiful vines. The “Pearl of Annecy Lake” attract artists and celebrities who come to relax. The most famous visitor is Paul Cézanne, who paints in Talloires : The blue lake in 1896. The artist is charmed by the bay and decides to paint the view of the Duingt Castle.

For almost 90 years, we have been meeting in our great-grandfather’s house. We spent all our holidays with family and it has forged strong links between us: swimming and games in the water between cousins, tree house, bicycle tour of the lake, large table in front of the view, walk, day skiing in La Clusaz, evening games in front of the fire, picking vegetables in the kitchen garden, etc. Lovers of Talloires, its bay and its mountains, it is very naturally that the desire to share them with the visitors of passage was born. Talloires and the Chalet Christine is first and foremost a family affair, that’s why you’ll find our grandfather’s portrait in the lobby and you can sleep in rooms that bear the first name of the last grandchildren’s of the family. Steeped in authenticity, charm and well-being, Chalet Christine’s B & B resembles us.
